About

I grew up outside of Winnipeg, Manitoba and have been making art my whole life.  I can’t remember a time when I wasn’t drawing  or painting.  I truly love being able to make quirky images, some serious, and some silly. Half of my working time is spent teaching art to high school students, and the other  half is slotted for creating art.  My work is usually made out of some combination of ink, watercolours, marker washes, watercolours, and I also explore collage.

Several years ago I finished an honours degree in Fine Arts from the University of Manitoba, where I majored in painting, and minored in Spanish.  I continued at the University of Manitoba and finished a Bachelor of Education degree, where I specialized in Art Education.    I have taken Illustration courses at Central St. Martins College of Art and Design in London, England and at Red River College in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Interests of mine include favouriting stop-motion animations on Youtube, making drawing-collages,  traveling when time allows, and doing photography.  You can find me living in Winnipeg  and skulking around on the internet.
